Kapitiranean - a touch of the Mediterranean in Wellington
After its previous life as a restaurant and bar, Kapitiranean was redesigned in 2003 with the sole purpose of being a venue for weddings and special occasions. The redesign included major developments to the building itself - with the result being a Mediterranean style building that reflects the Kapiti Coast climate. The surrounding land was reclaimed, and the gardens were likewise landscape designed - featuring native and exotic plants with the Mediterranean in mind.
